Just Cause 2: XP-Nutzer gehen leer aus

Publisher Square Enix hat die Systemanforderungen zum kommenden Open-World-Titel Just Cause 2 veröffentlicht und sorgt damit gleichzeitig für einen kleinen Schock. Den Anforderungen zur Folge werden Nutzer von Windows XP keine Möglichkeit haben den Titel zu spielen. Just Cause 2 setzt zwingend Vista oder Windows 7 inklusive DirectX 10 voraus.

Betrachtet man die Verbreitungsstatistiken aktueller Betriebssysteme, stellt sich jedoch die Frage, ob Square Enix gut daran tut einen nicht geringen Teil potenzieller Kunden auszuschließen, da XP immernoch sehr weit verbreitet ist und erst langsam gegen Windows 7 ausgetauscht wird.
